GE Ecomagination Centre: Masdar City

GE opened an “ecomagination centre” in Abu Dhabi’s Masdar City. The 840 square-metre space in Masdar City’s Incubator Building, showcases GE’s advanced technologies from cleaner solutions for power grids to upmarket appliances.

John designed the critical touchpoints of the exhibition, this includes the center piece by merging traditional mediums and digital technologies: Madinati, a city of 5 million people, brought to life through a 16sqm interactive table that combines physical buildings, with the underlying ‘behaviour’ of the city shown through digital animations under the perspex model city and brought to life for users by interactive screens, projection and voice-over.
